C & R: A wedding by the lake in France

The lake, a place that has always attracted romantic getaways, a place conducive to moments of shared happiness. Today, we present to you a wedding-inspired shoot, where the bride and groom, feet in the water, are united. We chose for this wedding styled shoot the beach of the beautiful Lac des Sapins, located in Beaujolais, in France. A bohemian chic inspired wedding, where elegance and refinement come together with simplicity and freedom.
For the video, we chose a rhythmic and engaging music that highlights the chic and dynamic side of this beach wedding. Our favorite photos are the most vivid of them, the photos that show the great time our bride and groom and their guests had together, and their bond.

Wedding bohemian french style decoration
The decoration chosen and produced by Art Déco Réception is made up of vintage and sophisticated pieces, purchased locally or second-hand. The floral creations were made with dried flowers in order to approximate the sand color of the shoot.
The bridal bouquet, buttonhole and bridesmaids’ bouquets were also created from dried flowers, in the colors of the shoot. Colors, shapes and textures are subtly combined by O’kiosque.
A wedding by the lake: what outfit and accessories ?
The wedding dress as well as the bridesmaids’ dresses were tailor made, in the surroundings of Lyon, by the french designer Véronique G. The model of the wedding dress is called Edelweiss: a back in transparent lace and open sleeves on the top for a bohemian chic touch.
The make up and hairstyle of the bride and the bridesmaids was carried out by Manon MUA, in a natural and light spirit to recall the simplicity of the bohemian chic theme. This is already the second time that we have done a photo shoot in collaboration with this make up artist that we highly recommend!
The costume, tailor made by french designers from Lyon, is sewn in a natural material, linen.
The jewels chosen are those of the jeweler Ajra, a french designer, from Lyon. Modern and ethical creations, all simplicity, in 18 carat gold for a better quality of the jewel. The engagement ring is adorned with a beautiful trio of diamonds.

The cake design also recalls the by the lake theme of the wedding with the hand-made flowers that adorn its different floors. The cake was made for the event by Cynthia, the pastry chef of Alyss’Patiss, also based in France.
The stationery was made by Claire of myownprintabledesign, an environmentally conscious stationery company that takes an eco-friendly approach in her work and in her life. She is based in England. The design of the invitation, the place cards and the menu is simple and uncluttered, in terracotta and white tones. Some stationery pieces were made on seeded paper to add texture and variation, and to recall the texture of the sand found on the Lac des Sapins beach.
