L&C: their gorgeous wedding love story !

L&C met 6 years ago in Quebec. A beautiful and intense friendship was born between them, after many evenings spent together and long passionate discussions. L just lost his father, and C lost him too. This topic brings them together immediately, and they immediately sense that something strong and pure is forming, but they do not yet put into words what binds them together. L returns to France, and C remains in Canada. During C’s visit to France, he decides to invite L to his family reunion. Their bond is stronger than ever, and they realize that they may be more than friends. They never leave each other!

After shifting C’s ticket twice for his return to Canada, they decide to build a project. Project that would allow them to know once and for all if this love story can take place between them. They decide to leave halfway between their two houses, in Iceland. And they realize that ultimately, life is sweeter when together! A long distance relationship followed, then a reunion, and the decision never to leave each other again: the marriage proposal came some time later, after a long suspense, in the middle of November. What a beautiful wedding love story, don’t you think ?

For their marriage, the wish of the two lovebirds is to reunite their families and their respective friends who come from far away. They therefore choose the Château de Charfetain to welcome all their loved ones in a pleasant and friendly place. They decide to stay there not only the day of their wedding but also a few days before in order to really enjoy their guests; and a day after, to say goodbye over pizzas and a pétanque tournament. Getting married in a castle has always been L’s dream, while C prefers the natural side of the place. The Château de Charfetain delighted them both and is a perfect place to seal their love story!

They had no plans for videographers … But that was without counting on their friends who chose to give them a surprise: offer them our photo and video service as a gift! And what happiness for us to photograph this wedding over three days, and to learn about L&C’s gorgeous wedding love story !

A great weekend of photo and video service, filled with beautiful attentions and surprises from their guests, but also surprises from the weather: the day of their wedding, it was said that it would rain all day, but the sun did show up often and made it possible to take advantage of the exterior spaces of the castle without getting wet!

The day before the wedding, we captured the preparations: the decoration of the room and the place of the reception, the creation of hand-made seat marks from leaves, and the icing on the cake, the exchange of texts between the two future spouses. These are the ones you can hear in the video!

On D-Day, the sun delighted us during the couple photos and then we waited for the rain to pass for the secular ceremony, filled with surprises: dances, songs, moving and funny texts about their beautiful love story, a cocktail of strong emotions for our newlyweds! The cocktail follows, in the sun, then the evening, very festive and lively. A delicious vegetarian barbecue made by a great caterer, musical games, a first dance with a music chosen by the DJ, and the beautiful gift from a guest: a splendid fireworks show that concludes our performance photo and video for the day.

The next day is quieter, many went to bed late, well rather, late in the morning! A pizza truck delights the taste buds of the guests, a pétanque tournament is organized, and C speaks in place of L, who had lost his voice by singing too much on the evening!
