J&T: a small covid wedding in Saône et Loire

Today, we tell you the story of the wedding of J. & T. in Saône et Loire, who have chosen us as photographers for their day, from the ceremony to the couple photos! Thank you both for your trust and welcoming!

We started the day by offering the couple a first look in front of the town hall of Sennecey le Grand. T. discovered his future wife all made up, hair and dressed in a beautiful wedding dress, ready to join him for life, the eyes sparkling with joy. The first look is the opportunity to give a little privacy to the couple who can thus enjoy this moment of discovery of each other before the ceremonies, and is the opportunity to have beautiful photos of them devouring each other with their eyes. !

A civil ceremony followed by a secular ceremony organized by an officiant, Cécile from D Day Wedding Planner: beautiful and moving speeches, so moving that they almost make the couple forget that they had to put tehir rings on ! A ceremony filled with so many emotions that it is not soon to be forgotten.

It is followed by a convivial meal filled with laughter and happiness with the people closest to them: friends, family, and even the bride’s sister by videoconference!

The wedding couple chose an elegant, simple and rustic decoration: pretty compositions of dried flowers, like the bride’s bouquet, and pretty cactus as a gift for the guests! A menu as well as place marks engraved in the wood, on a table itself in wood, protected by a table runner in the colors of the wedding.

J& T. have chosen to carry out their couple session at the place of the gîte which will later welcome the guests, a place filled with flowers and colors, 5 minutes from the reception venue in order not to stray too far from their guests, while avoiding their eyes for more privacy.

Once there, the bride hurried to swap her wedding dress for a lighter and more comfortable outfit: a white jumpsuit that allowed her to dance until the end of the night!
